Come Boldly
Life has a way of reminding us of our weaknesses. We face temptation, discouragement, failure, and seasons when we wonder if anyone truly understands what we are experiencing. Hebrews 4:14-16 gives believers a powerful reminder that Jesus is our Great High Priest who understands us perfectly and continually intercedes for us.
Because Jesus has entered Heaven, He represents us before the Father. Because He became fully human, He understands our grief, struggles, and temptations, yet He remained without sin. Through His finished work, every believer now has direct access to God’s throne of grace.
Instead of running from God when life becomes overwhelming, we are invited to come boldly to Him. There we find mercy for yesterday’s failures and grace for today’s needs. Our confidence is not based on our worthiness, but on Christ’s perfect work on our behalf.
No matter what you are facing this week, remember that the safest place for a struggling believer is in the presence of God.
