John 1:14–18 declares one of the greatest truths in Scripture: the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. In Jesus, God did not remain distant. He came near, entered our world, experienced human life, and revealed the glory of the Father. Christ did not merely speak about grace—He embodied it. From His fullness, we have all received “grace for grace,” an overflowing supply of divine favor, mercy, strength, and truth.
This passage reminds us that grace is not earned by human effort or religious performance. The law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. That means believers do not live on empty religion, but on the fullness of Christ Himself. His grace saves, sustains, strengthens, and leads us all the way home. No matter what we face, there is more grace in Jesus than there is need in us.
