Hebrews 3
Moses was one of the greatest leaders in Israel’s history, yet Hebrews 3 reminds us that Jesus is greater. Moses faithfully served in God’s house, but Christ is the Son over God’s house. He is worthy of our complete trust, worship, and devotion.
The writer of Hebrews also gives a sobering warning. The Israelites witnessed God’s mighty works but allowed unbelief to harden their hearts, causing them to miss the blessings God had prepared for them. We are encouraged to fix our eyes on Christ, encourage one another daily, and respond in faith whenever we hear God’s voice.
As we consider who Jesus truly is, may we choose faith over fear, obedience over unbelief, and steadfast confidence in the One who is greater than every earthly leader.
