Genesis 35:1-15

God called Jacob to return to Bethel, the place where He had first met him. But getting back required Jacob to leave behind his idols, cleanse his household, and rebuild the altar.

We, too, can drift from God. Returning to Bethel means remembering His faithfulness, removing what has taken His place, renewing our surrender, and returning to Him.

It is time to leave Shechem, bury the idols, rebuild the altar, and get back to Bethel.
