Better Things, Part 2 | Hebrews 8:1–6 (NKJV)

Promises are only as dependable as the one making them. While people may disappoint us or fail to keep their word, God’s promises never fail.

In Hebrews 8:1–6, we are reminded that Jesus Christ is our perfect High Priest, seated at the right hand of the Father. His sacrifice is complete, yet He continues to minister on our behalf.

Jesus offers something greater than the earthly priesthood ever could. Through His perfect sacrifice, He has established a better covenant built upon better promises.

These promises include forgiveness of sins, a transformed heart, a personal relationship with God, and the assurance of eternal life.

Whatever uncertainties we face, we can rest in the faithfulness of God.

Our confidence is not in promises made by man, but in the unchanging promises of God through Jesus Christ.
