Step 3 and the Power of Surrender
Celebrate Recovery Lesson 6 focuses on Principle 3 and Step 3: turning our lives and our wills over to the care of God.
Many people get stuck even after admitting powerlessness and believing in God’s power. The reason is simple: belief without action does not lead to change.
Step 3 is about action. It is the decision to stop trying to control everything and start trusting God instead.
Control often feels like safety, but it becomes a prison. Scripture calls us to meekness, which means strength under control. It is choosing God’s will over our own.
