What kind of church is Jesus coming back for? According to Ephesians 5, Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her so that He might present her to Himself as a glorious church, holy and without blemish.
This message reminds us that God’s design for His people has never changed. The Lord calls His church to walk in wisdom, holiness, truth, and obedience. In a culture that often rejects God’s design for marriage, family, and human identity, believers are called to remain faithful to God’s Word and stand as children of light.
A glorious church is not shaped by culture, but by Christ. It is cleansed by the Word, filled with the Spirit, and committed to God’s truth. As followers of Jesus, we are called to reject compromise, embrace holiness, and live in anticipation of Christ’s return.
May we be a church without spot or wrinkle, faithful to God’s design and ready for the coming of our Bridegroom.
